What changed at the front — and thanks to everyone who wrote from the line.

• Repair & focus — Select a fort to Repair with Supply (even at max Mk). Set Focus to Front, Back, Low HP, or High HP.
• Tutorial — Prefer the step-by-step walkthrough from the title screen (Tutorial), with in-game screenshots.
• Difficulty — Default is standard. Keon Mode: forts take 2/5 damage. Elon Mode: forts take 7/5 damage. Pick on the title screen.
• Honor Roll — After each battle, post your combat score with a callsign. Held time, kills, and wins climb the shared board on the title screen.
• Timeline — Four fronts: West, East, Mediterranean, and Pacific. Only Western Front fights are playable today. Open any ready battle; Coming soon nodes show the premise only. Bastogne is a chapter of five fights.
• Objective — Keep German forces from the objective. Breaches deal base damage; when Base hits 0, it’s GAME OVER.
• Held timer — Starts with the first assault. Longer is better: how long you kept the sector under fire.
• Return fire — Columns shoot fortifications in range. Towers have HP; armor and upgrades harden them. Use Repair with Supply at any Mk (including maxed). Rebuild only if a pit is knocked out.
• Focus — Select a fort and set Focus: Front, Back, Low HP, or High HP.
• Build — Place MG nests, anti-tank guns, mortars, and artillery on dashed pads along the roads.
• Economy — Earn supply by stopping columns. Upgrade or salvage fortifications as fronts shift.
• History — Field quotes, facts, and accounts fade in during the fight — the real war whispering over the map.
• Terrain — Approaches mirror Noville, Foy, Marvie, Assenois, Sibret, and Mande.
• Camera — Drag to pan, scroll to zoom, Shift+scroll or Tilt for slight angle. Buttons + / − / Tilt / View, or keys + − T R and arrows.
• Keys — Space sends the next assault. P pauses. 1–4 are the four forts in your kit. F cycles speed. A calls close air support when the sky is clear.
• Kit — After a fight you earn Requisition. On the briefing, unlock new forts and pick four slots. Doctrine can still ban a weapon for that battle. Open Ordnance in Archives for who built each piece, where it came from, and how it was supplied.
• Archives — One orderly room: dispatches, ordnance plates, this manual, and sourced history briefing PDFs.
• Weather & air — Fog grounds Allied air. At Bastogne, clear skies unlock airdrops and limited CAS; Christmas Eve may bring German bombers.
